A good sign for tobacco control advocates that the public awareness on the deadly effects of smoking are increasingly recognized by Hungarians. The handwriting on this beautiful reinforcing ad says: "Cancer". A public opinion survey in October 1999 found that only 14% of Hungarians would not support a total ban of tobacco advertising. The unknown author of this "extra text" should be one of them.
